About

Attract the interest of top employers by developing a personal marketing strategy

With thirty years of questioning corporate management about their hiring requirements, I deliver insightful coaching developed through decades of corporate client management to my executive transition coaching clients. Today is a time of exceptional opportunity in executive leadership positions. But it’s also a highly competitive, technology driven job market. An old school resume, rusty interviewing skills, inconsistent social media presence, and a depleted professional network will undermine your assets. If it’s been a few years since you’ve changed employers, the skill set you used to present to the public – and the way you’re used to presenting it – are indisputably ready for radical repackaging. I take pride in helping clients learn how to present their best selves to the marketplace with renewed, compelling strategies, tools and communication skills.

My network is extensive.

I have always had a genuine commitment to my clients’ success, which lead to becoming a recognized leader in placing C-level and senior level executives into roles in Finance, IT, Human Resources, General Management, and Business Analytics. Prior to initiating Getzkin Executive Transition Consulting, I was an Associate Partner with DHR International, specializing in Retained Executive Search engagements. Before that, I was a Partner with TRS Executive Search, where I spearheaded the establishment of a new Retained Executive Search practice for a prominent staffing company. Prior to that, I spent nine years as a Managing Director with Stone Murphy and fourteen years as Managing Associate with Korn Ferry as a successful executive recruiter, working in all functional disciplines across multiple global industries. I also spent eight years in Talent Acquisition becoming the Manager for Norwest/Wells Fargo, where I was a trusted advisor to the executive leadership team, leading a recruitment team and overseeing full cycle talent acquisition.

I received my B.A. in Industrial Psychology from the University of Minnesota. I was honored to have served on the Board of Directors and as a member of the Governance and Compensation Committee for the Alzheimer’s Association of Minnesota-North Dakota.
